THE animal nursery at Myuna Farm is bursting at the seams with four goats giving birth to four sets of twins and another goat giving birth to a rare set of triplets, all during May.
Myuna Farm manager Steve Hill said this was the first time in the history of the farm that a goat had given birth to triplets.
He said the aim of the farm was to have as many baby animals roaming around for the visiting children to pat and cuddle.
“Most of the time it’s the visitors who witness the animals giving birth,” he said.
During the next six to eight weeks baby alpacas, piglets and lambs are due to be born.
Myuna Farm is located at 182 Kidds Road in Doveton and is open Monday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
No kidding, it’s triple goats
