AUDIENCES at the Cranbourne Community Theatre were left wanting more after a Narre Warren primary school’s production of the hit musical Oliver.
Narre Warren South P-12 College students performed the popular musical in front of their family and friends recently.
More than 30 students spent terms one and two rehearsing for the two shows.
The main character, Oliver Twist, was played by grade five student Brendan while the other leading roles were performed by year 12s Amanda, Amber, Daniel and Steven.
Narre Warren South P-12 College teacher Rosemary Chapple said the school had produced a number of musicals since opening in 2002.
“Oliver was great fun and the students developed and transformed into their characters,” she said.
Assistant principal Kerri Bolch applauded both the students and the staff on the quality of the production.
