GET ready for a bellyfull of laughs as comedian Jimeoin prepares to perform for the time at Dandenong’s Drum Theatre this weekend.
The stand-up comedian will take centre stage on Sunday at 7.30pm with his new show Jimeoin on Ice.
Watch as the comedian skates through funny observations on the absurdities of everyday life.
The 90-minute show has had previous sell out seasons in Montreal, Edinburgh and London.
Jimeoin has forged a remarkable comedy career, regularly appearing at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Adelaide Fringe Festival, with his widely successful Australian tours attracting sell-out audiences.
Drum Theatre manager Paul Streefkerk said Jimeoin was touring with the same company that brought Akmal and Danny Bhoy to the Drum Theatre.
“They are finding a market here in Dandenong for comedy performances,” he said.
Mr Streefkerk said the show would contain strong language.
“It’s probably not suitable for younger audiences or those who find stronger language confronting,” he said.
Tickets for adults cost $34.90 and concessions and members cost $31.90.
