Liquor theft stashes bottles under jacket

Casey Crime Investigation Unit is investigating a burglary that occurred at a store in Narre Warren on the 10 January.

Police allege that at about 7:10am the offender entered the Princes Highway store, which was closed and unstaffed at the time.

He grabbed a number of liquor bottles from the display counter, concealing them under his jacket.

The boy, who is described as Caucasian, around 16 years of age, 5 ft 9″, about 85kgs, brown short hair and was wearing a white t-shirt, black plants and sneakers, has then gone and met up with a another boy.

The second man, who is described as Pacific Islander appearance, 6 ft 2″, approximately 95kgs and wearing a dark hoodie with a cap on, then entered the store and also took a number of bottles before leaving with the first boy.

Police have released CCTV still images of a boy who they believe may be able to assist with the investigation.
