Gunman on the run

A gunman is at large after police allege a man was shot in in Hampton Park on Tuesday 30 April.

Police and Emergency services were called to Fulham Close about 9.30am after reports a man had sustained a gunshot wound.

“It is understood the man was located at the premises with a gunshot injury to the lower body,” Victoria Police spokeswoman Alex Day said.

The 30-year-old man from Hampton Park was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

Police have established a crime scene at the location and are yet to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Detectives from the Armed Crime Squad believe this is a targeted incident.
