One-hundred-and-fifty people made their way to Bendigo Bank’s Berwick Branch to participate in the annual Biggest Morning Tea on Tuesday 28 May.
Now in its eighth year, the branch invited residents and businesses to share a cuppa and help raise $727.85 for the Cancer Council.
Special mention was made to Glenys Collins for supplying homemade jams, and lemons by Jillian Greenland, as well as raffle prizes donated by Little Black Bag Berwick and Village Massage and Reflexology.
“We would like to thank everyone for their ongoing support making this event a success,” branch manager Norm Davidson said.
“Every year we become more successful with our contribution to Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea we are proud to be a part of contribution to this great charity we all hold close to our hearts dearly.
“We would like to thank our community and surrounding businesses in joining us to make our day a success,” he said.
