COMMUNITY groups are encouraged to apply for the Victorian Volunteer Small Grants Program.
Grants of up to $5000 are available to assist organisations to attract new volunteers, create new volunteering opportunities, and strengthen existing volunteer programs.
South Eastern Metropolitan MP Gordon Rich-Phillips is encouraging community groups to apply for the small grants.
“Community groups make a vital contribution, and these grants enable them to increase this valuable service,” he said.
To be eligible for the Victorian Volunteer Small Grants Program, applicants must meet the selection criteria, which includes describing how their project will increase the diversity of volunteers in their organisation and how it will involve and encourage new volunteers.
Applications can be submitted at any time throughout the year.
Submission forms and guidelines are available from www.grants.dpcd.vic.gov.au.
For further information please call the office of MP Gordon Rich-Phillips on 9794 7667.
