LOCAL parents have the chance to learn all about family day care services next month.
The City of Casey will be holding an information session about the service on Tuesday 16 September at Narre Warren.
Casey manager of children’s services Colette McMahon said:
“Family Day Care provides the community with flexible, affordable and quality childcare in a home environment.
“The program is the most widely used childcare service in the city, with more than 270 care providers.”
The information night aims to advise local parents about how Family Day Care can provide for their individual needs, and provide the opportunity for parents to ask questions about the service.
“Care is with small numbers of children, with a maximum of seven children and only four non-school aged children at any one time, providing the ideal dynamic for quality care,” Ms McMahon said.
The event will be held at Casey Civic Centre from 7.30pm to 9pm.
