BOOKWORMS at a Berwick school are celebrating after receiving certificates to mark 100 nights of reading.
More than 185 students at Timbarra Primary School were awarded a certificate on Friday 8 August to mark the special occasion.
The school has been running the 100 nights of reading program since 2005.
In the beginning of the year, each student is given a diary to record their daily reading sessions and is encouraged to read every night of the school week.
In 2007, 88 per cent of the school’s students received their 100 nights of reading certificate.
