Men face charges

POLICE arrested two Hampton Park men yesterday (Wednesday) following several armed robberies in the south-east suburbs.
Frankston Embona Task Force Detectives simultaneously arrested the men in different locations in Hampton Park at about 6.20am.
Police said a 34-year-old was arrested while he was driving and a 33-year-old was arrested at a house.
The arrests follow robberies at milk bars in Darren Road, Springvale South, Clow Street, Dandenong, Tues Beau Vorno Avenue, Keysborough, and Glen Eagles Drive, Endeavour Hills.
Police said the robberies occurred during a four-day spree between 17 and 21 May.
Police said the men were taken to Dandenong Police Station. They are expected to be charged with several counts of robbery.
