STUDENTS from Kambrya College hosted members from the Rotary Club of Berwick during the club’s weekly meeting at the school.
More than 18 Year 11 and Year 12 students, studying VET hospitality, prepared and served food to more than 60 guests on Thursday 21 August.
Kambrya College food technology teacher Simone McKenzie said the dinner gave the students an opportunity to organise and run a catered function.
Year 11 student Samantha, in charge of running the kitchen on the night, said she wanted to pursue a career in the hospitality industry.
“I’d like to be a chef or hotel manager,” she said.
The club also presented the school with a $4000 cheque.
