$50,000 theft of laser goods

POLICE are calling for witnesses after $50,000 worth of laser equipment was stolen from a Hallam premises last week.
Thieves broke into Laser Express, Spring Square in Hallam, in the evening of 17 September.
Police said the thieves stole various surveying tools.
Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Senior Constable Joe Watson at the Narre Warren Police Station on 9705 3111.

GPS unit stolen

POLICE are calling for witnesses after a global positioning system (GPS) unit was stolen from a Coca-Cola delivery truck at Fountain Gate Shopping Centre.
Detective Senior Sergeant Steve Gaskin said the driver had parked the delivery van at the loading docks, near the lower level food court, at 10.15am on Thursday 11 September.
He said thieves stole the hand-held device and a printer from the vehicle.
