BOOKWORMS will be rejoicing with a $1.6 million funding announcement for libraries across the Casey-Cardinia network.
The money is part of the State Government’s annual allocation for Victorian libraries.
Local MP Luke Donnellan said the funding was an increase of 4.9 per cent from last year.
Local residents have access to libraries at Endeavour Hills, Doveton, Narre Warren, Hampton Park and Cranbourne as well as two locations in neighbouring Cardinia Shire.
