GRAFFITI vandals are continuing to wreak havoc in Cranbourne South.
A prominent advertising sign has been sprayed with tags for the second time in as many months.
The News highlighted the problem sign, at the corner of Westernport Highway and Cranbourne-Frankston Road, on 11 September.
City of Casey officials responded and had the mess cleaned up within a couple of weeks.
But the new coat of green paint didn’t last long and it was tarnished again earlier this week.
Casey works closely with Victoria Police to collect images of tags and store them on a large database that identifies offenders and assesses the cost of damage incurred by their vandalism.
The database holds thousands of images that police use to link graffiti vandals to crime scenes.
