FASHION lovers will strut down the catwalk for the annual Myer Fashions on the Field event at this weekend’s Browns Sawdust and Shavings Cranbourne Cup meeting.
The prestigious event will be hosted by fashion designer Katie Davenport with guest judges Country Racing Victoria’s fashion ambassador Sally-Anne Marshall, Myer Fashions on the Field 2007 winner Kate Barnes and Myer menswear business manager Simon Winter.
Participants can register from 11am at the Myer Fashions on the Field stage in the public lawn area on Sunday or by downloading the form from the turf club’s website www.cranturfclub.com.au.
The spring race wear parades will kick off at 12.40pm, with the final being held at 2.20pm.
All contestants must wear a hat or fascinator as part of this year’s judging criteria.
First prize is a $7000 Myer shopping spree at Myer Frankston or Myer Dandenong and the winner will automatically be entered into the Country’s Best Dressed Racegoer competition conducted by Country Racing Victoria.
