BOOKWORMS at the Hampton Park Library are celebrating after Narre Warren South MP Judith Graley announced funding of nearly $400,000 from the Brumby Government yesterday.
The funds will allow the library to improve its reading, study and activity areas and get new computers and computer game consoles.
Ms Graley said: “The Hampton Park library has become an integral park of the community with a large number of residents coming through its doors every day,” she said.
President of the Friends of Hampton Park Library Dawn Dakin said she was thrilled with the news.
The grant was provided through the State Government’s Living Libraries Program.
