POLICE have seized almost $1.4 million in cash, a loaded semi-automatic pistol and ammunition and capsicum spray and charged seven people with drug and firearms offences after a raid on a Dandenong South storage facility.
The raid was one of several carried out in Dandenong South, Lysterfield South, Scoresby, Belgrave, Ferntree Gully, Bayswater North and Tatong over two weeks earlier this month.
A 47-year-old Lysterfield South woman was arrested on 7 October and has been charged with trafficking heroin and possessing a prohibited weapon.
The charges follow a four-month investigation into heroin trafficking in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.
