Abduction attempt

POLICE are calling for witnesses after the attempted abduction of a woman in Hallam.
Police said a man, described as Caucasian, aged 25 years and 169cm tall, approached the woman while she was sitting in her parked car along the Princes Highway on Tuesday 21 October at 4.40pm.
The woman tried to lock her car door but the man opened it and demanded the keys to the car.
Police said the woman then tried to get out of the car, pushing the car door into him, and ran to a nearby doctor’s surgery.
The man fled the scene.
Police believe the man pictured may be able to help with further investigations.
Anyone with information is urged to call Detective Senior Constable David Measham and the Narre Warren police station on 9705 3111.
