A number of changes are expected to travel routes as work on the Monash Freeway Upgrade continues.
Drivers should be aware of the following freeway closures:
South Gippsland Freeway to Princes Highway – Monash Freeway closed between South Gippsland Freeway and Princes Highway in both directions from 9pm Monday 19 October to 4:30am Tuesday 20 October. Detour via the South Gippsland Freeway and Princes Highway.
Princes Highway to Clyde Road – Princes Freeway closed between Princes Highway and Clyde Road: Inbound from 9pm Monday 26 October to 5am Tuesday 27 October; Outbound from 9pm Tuesday 27 October to 5am Wednesday 28 October. Detour via Princes Highway and Clyde Road.
Ramp closures include:
Princes Link Highway – Inbound entry ramp to the Princes Freeway closed overnight on Monday 19 October from 8pm to 4:30am. Detour via Princes Highway and Clyde Road.
South Gippsland Freeway to Princes Highway – There will be overnight closures on various freeway ramps between the South Gippsland Freeway and Princes Highway over the coming weeks.
Path closures that will impact pedestrians and cyclists include:
Hallam Bypass Path – Sections of the Hallam Bypass Path will be closed from mid-October to late November between: Ernst Wanke Road and Josephine Avenue; Josephine Avenue and Prospect Hill Road; Prospect Hill Road and Magid Drive. Detours will be in place.
