Business group celebrates

Local businesses and members of the Berwick Business Group have gathered for a meet and greet on to celebrate the group’s five year anniversary.

Berwick cafe Blu Olive catered the event and Isher Eggless Bakers made a cake for the celebrations on Thursday 11 March.

The networking event was held at Pokerface The Eventspace on Enterprise Avenue, a new venue which opened during the pandemic.

President Magda D’Abaco and secretary Caroline Ward welcomed traders to the event, which was the first face-to-face gathering held by the group since the Covid pandemic a year ago.

Guests were updated on the upcoming Berwick VIP Fashion Festival, set to take place in April, and marketing initiatives the group is delivering.

It was also an opportunity to hear guest speakers from the Level Crossing Removal Authority talk about progress, while speakers from the e=Economic Development Office at the City of Casey Council spoke about the upcoming Casey Business Awards.

The Berwick Business Group continues to be a strong driving force in the community with membership growing across various industries.
