POLICE are investigating a stabbing in Hampton Park last weekend that left a 33-year-old man with a punctured left lung.
Detective Senior Constable David Measham from the Narre Warren police station told the News the incident occurred at a Clive Street home at 4.15pm on 18 January. Det Sen Const Measham said a dispute broke out at the property between the 33-year-old man and a 55-year-old man, both from Hampton Park.
The 33-year-old was rushed to The Alfred hospital with stab wounds from a kitchen knife and underwent surgery later that afternoon.
Det Sen Const Measham said both men were assisting police with investigations. No charges have been laid.
