THE Disability Resources Centre will receive a $1000 grant from Casey Council’s ‘access and inclusion’ program.
The centre will use the funds to hold a forum during the year highlighting the accessibility of housing in the south-east growth corridor. The event will include guest speakers from the Victorian Council of Social Services, the Australian Network for Universal Housing Development and a representative from the building industry.
Hampton Park Primary School has also scored $800 as part of the same grants program to be put towards running a series of activities during Multicultural Week.
Casey has made $10,000 available this year for the ‘access and inclusion’ program.
