Help warm those in need

The warm hearts at Akoonah Park Men’s Shed are putting the call out for warm clothing and blankets for those in need.

On behalf of the Berwick Op Shop and Narre Warren Community Op Shop, the Men’s Shed is appealing for people to donate winter woollies, blankets and warm clothing for people who can’t enjoy the comforts of home.

Jumpers, jackets, blankets and coats will all be gratefully received.

Tinned and dry food can also be donated – things like a can of soup, cereal, pasta or sugar.

Food must be sealed and unopened.

Donations can be brought to the Akoonah Park Men’s Shed when restrictions allow, and the Men’s Shed members will then take these to the op shops.

For more information, visit https://www.apms.org.au/index.php, find the Akoonah Park Men’s Shed on Facebook or call Maurice Hall, president, on 0403 660 844.
