SWIMMING stars battled it out during a Clyde North school’s annual swimming carnival last week.
Year seven to 12 students from Hillcrest Christian College took to the pools at Doveton Pool in the Park on Thursday dressed in their sports house colours.
Many students broke individual swimming records during the fiercely competitive day, with budding swimmers also taking part in team games such as surfing relays.
“I love the school swimming sports day as everyone can get involved and you don’t have to be a proficient swimmer to enjoy the day,” senior sports coordinator Christine Steer said.
Carey house won the overall title and walked away with the house champion’s trophy.
