CASEY’S very own socialite Lady Uppity Crust graced television screens last Wednesday as she made an appearance on Channel Seven’s Australia’s Got Talent.
Lady Uppity Crust toldthe News she only lasted a couple of seconds on stage in front of judges Dannii Minogue, Tom Burlinson and Red Symons, performing a bantam of the opera and a tongue twister.
“I started to cluck like a chicken and it was quite funny but unfortunately it wasn’t the judges’ cup of tea,” she said.
Lady Uppity Crust said all three judges displayed crosses, not allowing her to make it through to the next round.
The first time contestant said she went on Australia’s Got Talent, a talent show featuring amateur singers, dancers, magicians, comedians and other performers of all ages competing for a top prize of $250,000, with the aim of representing socialites.
“If I won the overall competition I had planned to donate the prize money to the arts and entertainment facilities in the City of Casey,” she said.
Lady Uppity Crust said the segment for the television program was filmed in January at The National Theatre in Melbourne.
