Discount due on buyer grants

– Rebecca Fraser
FIRST-home buyers living in Casey need to move fast to ensure they get their share of Victoria’s first-home buyer bonus.
Narre Warren North MP Luke Donnellan said the $5000 bonus was due to be reduced to $3000 on 31 December.
He said this grant would be available until 30 June, 2007 and would be in addition to the Federal Government’s $7000 grant.
He also urged all first-home buyers to get in quick with their house-hunting.
“Buying a first home before the New Year will save you $2000.
“Casey is a great place to live and raise a family.
“If people are thinking about moving out of the rental market and into their first home, they had better move fast,” he said.
