PHOTOGRAPHER Ana Wines is celebrating after snapping her way to winning first and second place in the photography competition at the Berwick Show.
Ms Wines took home first prize in the sports section for capturing a shot of the rodeo at the Deniliquin Ute Muster event.
“I think the photo captured the excitement of the day,” she said.
The Narre Warren resident also received the runner-up certificate in the abstract section for snapping a sculpture at the Cranbourne Botanic Gardens.
The same photo also scored the 35-year-old photographer an encouragement award.
This was the first time Ms Wines had entered the Berwick Show photography competition.
Ms Wines has been perfecting her craft since the age of nine, after getting an old fashioned camera from her father.
“Since then I’ve had around 20 cameras,” she said.
“I like to take shots of people and events.”
Ms Wines also won the Spirit of Casey photo competition last year.
