AFRICAN drummers, Indigenous workshops and Bollywood dancers entertained almost 400 Doveton residents at a combined event at Doveton Neighbourhood Learning Centre on Saturday, 21 March.
The City of Casey Harmony Day and People in Places events featured entertainments, displays by Casey community groups, free face painting and a sausage sizzle.
People in Places was an informal gathering to meet neighbours and learn more about services and opportunities available locally, while Harmony Day was aimed at demonstrating respect, fairness, acceptance and a sense of belonging for everyone.
