Bushfire match

A TWENTY20 Charity Cricket Match at Casey Fields raised almost $800 for bushfire victims.
The match was hosted by City of Casey mayor Geoff Ablett with cricketers from local clubs and Victorian and Australian team representatives.
The match was organised to support the CFA and RecLink, an organisation which assists socially and economically disadvantaged people access sporting and recreational activities as a form of social therapy.
The CFA and RecLink determined that the $785.35 raised would be used to provide sporting equipment to Casey residents affected by the recent bushfires.
Three Casey residents walked away with prizes donated to the Twenty20 Match, which included a Davey Water Pump donated by Davey Water Products, an autographed Victorian Bushrangers Cricket Bat donated by Cricket Victoria, and morning tea for four at Krispy Kremes donated by Krispy Kremes.
