A 44-YEAR-OLD learner driver was trapped in her car early Friday morning following a serious collision in Endeavour Hills.
The woman lost control about 12.45am and hit a children’s crossing point and a large tree before the car rolled over.
The incident occurred on Heatherton Road just past James Cook Drive. The Mentone resident was trapped in the Nissan sedan. The car’s three other occupants, including two children, were not trapped.
Endeavour Hills police, the Hallam CFA and Dandenong Rescue and Support attended the scene.
The woman was taken to The Alfred hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A hospital spokesperson this week said the woman was in a stable condition.
