COMPOST bins and worm farms will be on display at the Oakgrove Community Centre this weekend to raise awareness about climate change during International Compost Awareness Week.
Oakgrove Community Centre treasurer Rod Charles is encouraging the community to come along to the free event on Saturday from 10am to 2pm.
The event will include practical demonstrations, workshops, Powerpoint presentations and free giveaways.A micro climate garden was created at the centre last year, with speciality plants growing out of compost.
Oakgrove Community Centre is located at 89 to 101 Oakgrove Drive in Narre Warren South.
