STUDENTS wandered through apple trees as they toured a Narre Warren orchard.
More than 100 Grade 1 and 2 students from Tecoma Primary School visited Montague Fresh’s apple orchards as part of a program about agriculture and healthy eating.
The students got the opportunity to pick their own Jazz apples, Australia’s newest apple introduced by Montague Fresh, see the machinery in the cleaning and packing facilities, and compete in an apple eating competition.
