The Berwick Neighbourhood Centre is hosting their annual general meeting (AGM) on Wednesday 30 March from 10am at the Timbarra Community Centre in Berwick.
The event will offer the organisation with the opportunity to reconnect and review the needs of the community and create a vibrant, safe and welcoming space.
Manager Kim Peterson emphasised the significance of developing relationships on the back of the pandemic.
“It is really important to re-establish connections and make the centre a vibrant, humming place that easily accessible and can be a home away from home,” Ms Peterson said.
“We want to get a feel for the community and what they really want.”
Community members in attendance will have the chance to voice their concerns or be part of the future vision.
“We want the neighbourhood centre to be a welcoming place to meet people and explore ideas and feel good – if you have a question, concern or interest, we can follow up for you,” Ms Peterson said
