DETECTIVES have released an image of a man they wish to speak to in relation to an armed robbery in Hallam.
Police said a Narre Warren man was assaulted by a group of men, one bearing a bat or metal bar, near Keppel Drive on Friday 8 May at 1.40am.
The 31-year-old man was walking down Hallam Road towards a convenience store where he withdrew a quantity of cash.
According to police, one of the men stole the victim’s money before leaving the scene in a dark coloured Hyundai Excel with two females.
The man received lacerations to his face and was taken to the Dandenong Hospital for treatment.
