Multicultural Grants

Grants of up to $75,000 are available to support multicultural communities to produce and distribute content that provides information about the COVID-19 vaccination program and encourages Covid safe behaviour.

The Multicultural Communications Outreach Program (MCOP) funds multicultural media, community members and organisations to produce informative, engaging content related to vaccinations and Covid-19 safety.

The program is aiming to increase the number of Victorians taking part in the vaccination program, support the social and economic recovery of multicultural communities, provide opportunities for new and emerging communities to develop content skills and channels.

The program also seeks to build connections between the Victorian Government and multicultural communities and produce innovative, meaningful and engaging content.

The content can be presented in the following formats: videos, interviews, photography, street art, comic books, comedy sketches, radio plays, spoken word performances, music, web series, podcasts, visual arts.

To apply, individuals need to include an outline of the proposed activity and why it should be funded; information on who would be working on the project; organisation background; target audience; how you plan to reach the target audience; a detailed proposal budget.

Applications close at 5pm on Tuesday 29 March.
