Barrie and Lucy Reynolds from Hampton Park are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

ADORING each other is how a Hampton Park couple have been described as they mark their 50th wedding anniversary.
Barrie and Lucy Reynolds celebrated the special day last Sunday at the Cardinia Park Hotel in Beaconsfield surrounded by around 40 guests.
Mrs Reynolds, 71, recalls meeting her husband while at scouts 52 years ago.
“As soon as we started dating, I knew I wanted to marry him,” she said. The couple, who have been living in Hampton Park for 46 years, were married on 23 May at the Springvale Church of Christ.
Mrs Reynolds said they both enjoyed spending time with their four children, Sherida, Kerrie, Richard, and Michael and eight grandchildren and three great grand children.
“We also belong to the Hampton Park Senior Citizens Club and like to travel to Harvey Bay when we can,” Mrs Reynolds said.
Mr Reynolds, 74, has also been involved with Hampton Park Fire Brigade, the local progress association and the Lions Club. Granddaughter Kylie Velupillai said her grandparents were selfless.
“They always make sure everyone else is looked after before them,” Ms Velupillai said.
The 29-year-old said the couple suffered without each other’s company.
“It’s really sweet and to reach 50 years of marriage is something I aspire to do,” she said.
