Rating the locals’ performances for the MPNFL Sharks

Daniel Borninkhof (Narre Warren)
Got better as the game went on and used his explosive pace to advantage and made the most of his possessions after adjusting to the pace of the game.

Lee Boyle (Narre Warren)
Dominated every WGLFL full-forward who dared to take him on. Had a taste of interleague football last year, but looked like he belonged this year.

Michael Collins (Narre Warren)
Nothing fazes ‘Collo’ and he played a top-class game in the midfield and ruck and Seaford’s Chris Irving just pipped him for best afield honours.

Ryan Hendy (Doveton)
Proved himself as a legitimate league star with a sensational performance as an elusive key in attack. Kicked 6.4 and had a hand in many scoring plays and must be considered for VCFL state selection.

Daniel Rigg (Devon Meadows)
Rigg, at 30, the oldest player in the side, was a winning target at centre half-forward, booting one goal and setting up Hendy and Fry on numerous occasions.
