Witness appeal following Hampton Park hit-run

Casey Highway Patrol officers are appealing for witnesses after a 60-year-old man was hit by a car in Hampton Park on Monday 4 July.

It is believed a dark coloured Toyota Corolla was travelling along Warana Drive and turned south into Hallam Road when it struck a pedestrian about 6.40am.

A Hampton Park man was crossing at a pedestrian crossing at the time of the collision and knocked to the ground.

He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The sedan failed to stop at the scene and assist the man.
