Monash Freeway closure

There will be a full closure of CityLink/Monash Freeway inbound this Saturday for maintenance works.

The freeway will be closed from 11pm on Saturday 27 August until 7am on Sunday 28 August.

The Power Street exit ramp from the Domain Tunnel will be closed from 9pm to facilitate the closure.

Drivers have been asked to plan ahead and allow extra travel time.

Detours that will be in place:

• Detour to CityLink/Tullamarine Freeway

From CityLink/Monash Freeway inbound take the exit onto Toorak Road,, turn right onto St Kilda Road, turning left onto Kings Way and taking the Kings Way entry ramp onto the West Gate Freeway westbound then take the outbound entry ramp onto the Bolte Bridge northbound towards Melbourne Airport.

• Detour to the West Gate Freeway/Geelong

From CityLink/Monash Freeway inbound take the exit onto Toorak Road, turn right onto St Kilda Road, turn left onto Kings Way and take the Kings Way entry ramp onto the West Gate Freeway westbound.

• Detour to Melbourne CBD

From CityLink/Monash Freeway inbound take the exit onto Toorak Road, turn right onto St Kilda Road and continue north to reach Melbourne CBD.
