Police brief: investigations into fatal collision in Lynbrook begin

Police are investigating a fatal collision in Lynbrook on Tuesday morning, 6 September.

Police believe a car and a truck were involved in a collision at the intersection of Evans Road and South Gippsland Highway around 12.20am.

The car caught fire and the female driver and sole occupant died at the scene, but the driver of the truck was not injured and stopped at the scene, police say

Investigations into the exact cause of the collision are ongoing.
