A BERWICK kindergarten is celebrating after news it will receive a new computer and equipment in the next few months as part of a $6.8 million funding boost from the State Government.
Narre Warren North MP Luke Donnellan said the announcement would see Victorian kindergartens, including the Rossmoyne Family Resource Centre, share in $3.93 million for minor capital works such as new rainwater tanks, shade structures, outdoor play equipment and other educational resources.
Mr Donnellan said the grant would allow every local kindergarten to purchase the equipment or resources they needed.
“Along with parents and family, kindergarten is at the heart of providing children with the most stimulating and supportive environments in the critical years before school,” he said.
