LIONS Club Endeavour Hills in on the hunt for more members.
The club, which recently welcomed new member Linda Jones at a recent change-over meeting at the Dandenong Workers Social Club, has nine members.
“Most clubs have about nine to 20 members,” said Pauline Spry, who sponsored Linda Jones.
“We have been operating for about 26 years and have nine members, but we would like more.”
Ms Spry said anyone wanting to do community service would be attracted to the club.
“We do a lot of sausage sizzles, and fundraisers to donate money to worthy causes in the community,” Ms Spry said.
“We recently paid for a walking frame for a disabled child in Endeavour Hills,” she said.
Lions Club Endeavour Hills has two meetings a month. For details, contact Lion Max Dusting on 9795 3414 or Pauline Spry on 9700 1687.
