REV heads are set to start their engines for the 11th annual Motorcycle Riders’ Association Australia (MRA) Cranbourne GP Run on Saturday 17 October.
beyondblue, an independent, not for profit organisation working to address issues associated with depression, anxiety and related substance misuse disorders in Australia, has been announced as the charity for this year’s event.
Casey mayor Geoff Ablett said he was pleased such a worthwhile cause would benefit from the community event.
At the event, the beyondblue marquee will be located on Childers Street in Cranbourne. The 2009 MRA Cranbourne GP Run starts at 8.15am with the wave-off at 10am in High Street.
Mayfield Ward councillor Kevin Bradford, chairman of the MRA Cranbourne GP Run organising committee, is encouraging everyone to come along to the event.
The City of Casey is pleased to present the 2009 MRA Cranbourne GP Run, which is supported by the Motorcycle Riders’ Association Australia, Victoria Police, Star News Group and the Cranbourne Chamber of Commerce.
