MORE than 175 students will be taking centre stage to show their Sri Lankan dance skills.
‘Vishver Narthana Rekha’ will feature dancers ranging from four years of age to 25 years, entertaining audiences with a mix of traditional Sri Lankan dance performance and Indian Bollywood dancing.
Vishver Rangayathanaya, the academy for traditional Sri Lankan dancing group, trains weekly at Hallam Primary School and Kerri Neighbourhood House, Glen Waverley.
They are made up of students from Hallam, Dandenong, Cranbourne and Berwick areas.
The dancing director Rashika Kulasinghe was awarded the multicultural award for excellence in performing arts held at the Governor House.
