POLICE will be blitzing Casey roads this weekend as local footy fans gather to celebrate this year’s AFL grand final.
Casey Traffic Management Unit (TMU) Sergeant Pat McGavigan said police would be patrolling the streets in marked and unmarked police cars and bikes in an effort to catch drink drivers.
“Drivers need to beware that they probably will get caught. They should think twice before drinking and then driving on finals day,” he said.
