POLICE have been seeking information about numerous petrol thefts from service stations in Narre Warren, Hampton Park and Berwick.
The thefts occurred between Wednesday, 26 August and Saturday, 19 September.
Police believed the man responsible was driving either a white VN-VP Holden Commodore, a maroon VR-VS Holden Commodore sedan or a maroon wide-bodied Toyota Camry Sedan with a stolen number plate ‘QAA 687’ fitted to the vehicles.
Police said the number plate was stolen on 6 August.
