Fun with nanna, pop

IT WAS a fun time for children at the Narre Community Learning Centre when they invited their grandparents and special friends along to the centre this week to get a taste of pre-kinder life.
Clay painting and pasting were just a few of the activities the children and their visitors enjoyed on Tuesday, according to program development manager Wendy Peck.
“Many grandparents enjoyed the dramatic area, sharing a cup of pretend tea with their grandchildren, while others spent time playing with trains and trucks,” she said.
“A great time was had by all.”
An open day for the three and four-year-old groups will be held on Wednesday, 4 November from 9.30am to 2pm. Registrations and booking for 2010 will be taken on the day.
For details phone the Narre Community Learning Centre on 9704 7388.
