STRATHAIRD Primary School students wore colourful bandannas last Friday as the school took part in National Bandanna Day to raise money for the CanTeen Foundation.
The aim of the annual event is to show young people living with cancer that they are not alone.
The students at the Narre Warren South raised more than $1800 for the organisation.
This is the second year the school has run the event.
National Bandanna Day is one of the biggest fundraisers for the CanTeen Foundation, the Australian organisation which supports 12 to 24-year-olds living with cancer.
