EDUCATION Minister Bronwyn Pike visited Oatlands Primary School last week with funding news for the school’s new multi-purpose centre.
Besides the Narre Warren school receiving the $3 million Rudd Government investment, they have also scored a further $200,000 for an outdoor learning centre as part of the National Schools Pride initiative.
Ms Pike was taken on a tour of the school and shown the site for the new facilities last Wednesday.
Narre Warren North MP Luke Donnellan said the flexible learning spaces boasted abundant natural light and had the capacity for group learning.
“The new buildings will create flexible modern learning environments which can be customised to meet the needs of each school,” Mr Donnellan said.
