Bashed with bottle

AN ENDEAVOUR Hills man needed stitches to his head after he was struck with a bottle outside his home on Friday night.
The victim’s dog started barking and alerted the man to someone who was urinating on the nature strip on the intersection of Nyora Close and Raymond McMahon Boulevard about 7.50pm, police said.
The victim, 61, and his 37-year-old son came outside and confronted a group of five males and one female.
An altercation occurred and the 61-year-old was hit on the head with a bottle, police said.
He was taken to Dandenong Hospital where he required stitches.
